Home Audio Conversion
We live in a digital era. And yet the overwhelming majority of recorded sound from the past century is only available on an analog format: vinyl record, audio cassette, open reel tape, or 8-track. We use high-quality, low-noise equipment to digitally transfer that sound to compact disc or audio files that can played on your computer, MP3 player, or other device.
Basic Audio CD Transfer Package
Our basic audio CD transfers can contain up to approximately 1 hour of sound data from a variety of media: vinyl records, 1/8" audio cassettes, 1/4" open reel tapes, 8-track cartridges, micro-cassettes and more. This package includes the following:
- Optional sound treatments, including noise reduction, EQ "sweetening", and pop & crackle editing
- Customizable track inserts for home audio recordings
- Personalized CD jewel cases with scanned copy of full album cover and track listing
It is possible to add sound from a number of different sources, seamlessly combined and "normalized" to avoid sudden changes in volume. Check out our full price list for pricing details.

Vinyl Record Transfers
Vinyl record transfers are an imperfect science, but we take great care in offering the best possible sound replication available. Each vinyl recording is carefully inspected and cleaned before transfer. Our staff exclusively uses light-weight, low-impact diamond-tipped cartridges. We also offer several methods of digitally reducing pops, crackles, and even skips on the record.
We currently transfer 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM records. Special rates are available for singles. Shorter recordings can be combined onto a single CD for reduced prices. For details, refer to our full price list.

Analog Audio Tape Transfers
Audio tape suffers from the same issue as all analog magnetic tape: a reduction in fidelity over time. Deterioration can be much greater with repeated playback. Our audio tape transfers allow you to enjoy these recordings over and over for a lifetime.
We currently transfer standard 1/8" audio cassettes, 1/4" open reel tape, and 8-track audio cartridges at multiple speeds. Create customized track inserts for home recordings and personalize your jewel case with photos and more for a one-of-a-kind presentation.
